If you are considering a visit to King of Kings, we would love the opportunity to meet you! We’d like to answer a few questions you might have as you decide to be our guest this Sunday.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 1715 S. Lapeer Rd, near the corner of Lapeer and Stadium, in Lake Orion. When you arrive, enter through the main door our building by the round-about. Greeters will be present to welcome you, answer any questions you have, and help you direct to our sanctuary.
WHAT TIME ARE SERVICES AND HOW LONG ARE THEY?
We have services at 8:30am and 10am. Singing at our 8:30am service is led by our organist and choir (September-May) and follows closely to the traditional Lutheran liturgy. Singing at our 10am service is led by our praise band and follows a less formal order of worship.
Our services typically last about an hour, and we invite you to join us for coffee and fellowship immediately following either service.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you when you come to King of Kings. You can “dress up” if you want, or wear casual clothes. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.
CAN I TAKE COMMUNION?
At King of Kings, we celebrate communion every week at both of our worship services. All baptized followers of Jesus, regardless of denominational affiliation, are welcome to participate in communion. We offer gluten/dairy free bread for those who need it, as well as your choice of wine or grape juice.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We love kids! We provide nursery care for children 4 and under during both of our services. During our 10:00am service, children pre-K-5th grade take part in Junior Worship following the Kid’s Message and then return for Communion. Activity bags are available if you wish to keep your children with you during worship.
WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS?
We are grateful for the chance to share in your faith journey! If you have any questions or if there is any way we can make your visit more enjoyable, please fill out the form below!
